Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing Assam School of Education. We operate as a local publisher serving students across Assam. Please read our shipping and order verification process carefully, as it differs from standard e-commerce sites.

1. Delivery Area (Assam Only)

We currently only ship within the state of Assam. Any orders placed for addresses outside of Assam will be automatically canceled.

2. Order Placement & WhatsApp Verification

To ensure a frictionless yet secure experience, we follow a manual verification process:

  • All Orders are placed as COD (Cash on Delivery) by default on the website.

  • Order Verification: Once you place an order, our team will review it to see if your location is deliverable by our courier partners.

  • WhatsApp Confirmation: We will contact you via WhatsApp at +91 9954125220 to confirm your order details and availability. No order is dispatched until it is verified via WhatsApp.

3. Shipping Rates & UPI Discount

We charge a flat shipping fee per order. You have the option to save on shipping by paying via UPI:

  • Standard Shipping: Rs. 69/- per order (applied to all COD shipments).

  • Prepaid/UPI Discount: If you choose to pay via UPI after placing your order, you will receive a Rs. 20/- discount on the shipping fee, making it Rs. 49/-.

  • How to get the discount: After placing your order, send your payment via UPI and share a screenshot of the payment to our official WhatsApp: +91 9954125220.

4. Shipment Processing & Delivery Time

  • Processing: Orders are processed within 0–3 business days after WhatsApp verification.

  • Guwahati Delivery: 1–3 business days.

  • Rest of Assam Delivery: 3–6 business days.

  • Note: Orders are not dispatched on Sundays or public holidays.

5. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is verified and handed over to our courier partner, we will share your Tracking Number directly with you on WhatsApp. You can use this to monitor your book’s journey to your doorstep.

6. Damages & Claims

  • Assam School of Education is not liable for products damaged or lost during transit.

  • Mandatory Unboxing Video: To be eligible for a replacement for damaged or missing items, you must record a continuous unboxing video starting from the sealed package. No claims will be entertained without video evidence.
