Syed Nizamul Haque Memorial Awards
Every year, the Assam School of Education, the house behind the publication of books such as “Dapoon Poripurika” proudly organizes the Syed Nizamul Haque Memorial Awards in honor of our esteemed founder, Syed Nizamul Haque. Launched in 2022, these awards are dedicated to recognizing the academic excellence of meritorious students, particularly those who top the HSLC and Assam Higher Secondary exams, as well as rank holders in various subjects. Through these awards and scholarships, funded by the revenue from our book sales, we aim to support and encourage bright young minds across Assam.
Syed Nizamul Haque devoted his life to improving the educational landscape in Assam, and we are committed to carrying forward his legacy. With your continued support and our unwavering dedication, Assam School of Education will continue to make meaningful contributions to the academic community and inspire the next generation of achievers. Syed Nizamul Haque Memorial Awards, 18th December, 2022
The inaugural Syed Nizamul Haque Memorial Awards ceremony took place on December 18, 2022. At this prestigious event, several scholarships and awards were presented to meritorious students, including those who achieved the highest marks in the 2022 HSLC examination. In addition to academic recognition, awards were also given to creative individuals and inspirational figures who have made significant contributions in their respective fields. The event was graced by esteemed chief guest, Mr. Prasanta Jyoti Barua, Executive Director of The Assam Tribune, adding further distinction to the occasion.
During the same event, a book on Syed Nizamul Haque was released, all his compilation along with his life works were published, People who remembered him wrote about him. Syed Nizamul’s dedication towards Education was significant.
