আৰম্ভণি: সমাজ এখন জীৱন্ত সত্তা। ই ব্যক্তিৰ সমষ্টিৰে গঠিত। এখন সুস্থ আৰু আগবঢ়া সমাজৰ বাবে প্ৰতিজন ব্যক্তিৰে কিছুমান দায়িত্ব আৰু কৰ্তব্য থাকে। ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকল সমাজৰ এক গুৰুত্বপূৰ্ণ অংশ। তেওঁলোক দেশৰ ভৱিষ্যত। গতিকে সমাজৰ প্ৰতি তেওঁলোকৰো কিছু দায়িত্ব আছে।সমাজ সেৱাৰ আৱশ্যকতা: সমাজ সেৱা মানে হৈছে সমাজৰ উন্নতিৰ বাবে কাম কৰা। সমাজত বিভিন্ন সমস্যা থাকে, যেনে দৰিদ্ৰতা, নিৰক্ষৰতা, আৰু বেমাৰ। এই সমস্যাবোৰ দূৰ কৰিবলৈ সমাজ সেৱা অতি জৰুৰী। সমাজ সেৱাৰ দ্বাৰা দুখীয়া আৰু অসহায় লোকসকলক সহায় কৰিব পাৰি। ইয়াৰ ফলত সমাজত শান্তি আৰু ঐক্যতা বৃদ্ধি পায়।ছাত্র-ছাত্রীৰ দায়িত্ব: ছাত্র-ছাত্রীসকলে সমাজ সেৱাত বিভিন্ন ধৰণে সহায় কৰিব পাৰে। তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ অঞ্চলত চাফ-চিকুণ অভিযান চলাব পাৰে। দৰিদ্ৰ ল’ৰা-ছোৱালীক পঢ়াত সহায় কৰিব পাৰে। বৃদ্ধাশ্ৰম আৰু অনাথ আশ্ৰমত সেৱা আগবঢ়াব পাৰে। প্ৰাকৃতিক দুৰ্যোগৰ সময়ত সাহায্য আগবঢ়াব পাৰে। এই কামবোৰৰ জৰিয়তে ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলে সমাজৰ প্ৰতি থকা নিজৰ দায়িত্ব পালন কৰিব পাৰে।সামৰণি: সমাজ সেৱা কেৱল এটা কাম নহয়, ই এক মহান আদৰ্শ। ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলে সমাজ সেৱাৰ গুৰুত্ব বুজি পোৱা উচিত। তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ জীৱনত সমাজ সেৱাক এক অংশ হিচাপে গ্ৰহণ কৰা উচিত। সমাজ সেৱাৰ জৰিয়তে এখন উন্নত আৰু সুস্থ সমাজ গঢ়ি তোলা সম্ভৱ। Written by :- Hirak Jyoti kalita
